The Hirsh 45 Center Cockpit yacht is a well thought out sailing machine. Designed by Richard Lazzara and built in the Gulfstar factory to meet the rigors of offshore sailing. "Negotiator" is a double headstay sloop, with a keel stepped mast and the displacement is a solid 26,000lbs. The cockpit is roomy, deep and safe and the running rigging is all within easy reach. The large Bimini and Dodger afford excellent protection from the weather.
"Negotiator" has been set up for cruising with four solar panels mounted on the aft stainless steel dinghy davit arch. The solar power system is complimented by a Fourwinds Wind machine. There is even an additional charging unit that can be dropped overboard and attached to the battery charging system so you can keep your battery bank charged in all conditions.
Speaking of battery banks, 'Negotiator" is equipped with two battery banks each consisting of 4 batteries. The engine has its own starting battery.
Below decks the galley is quite large, the salon features a big double leaf table and there are quality teak storage shelves and cabinets throughout.
New upholstery, a centerline bed with a real mattress in the master bedroom, two good sized heads and a proper maintenance schedule all add up to a great cruisng yacht that is ready to go. Her watermaker will turn out 600 gallons per day helping to make comfort at sea come true.
