Sailing a Hanse will remind you why you fell in love with sailing. To say this beautiful 47 foot yacht handles lika a dingy might be a bit of a stretch - but not much of one. WIth her huge, high aspect ratio main (her mast tops out at over 80 feet) and her self tending jib she snaps through tacks with a simple spin of one of her twin helms.
Dock side she is a show stopper. Form follows function here, she is sleek in appearance but all for good reason. To keep the decks easy to move around and trip free all lines are led aft through races to powered winches at the helms. Most hatches are flush with the decks and those that are not are low profile. The self tending Jib means no sheets running on the decks. Her open transom is stylish and practical, the cockpit inviting and accommodations below are beautiful.
"Riches To Rags" is a well maintained boat that has been cruised in the Mediterranean by her knowledgeable owners for the last few years. She will be in Florida in late November and should be available to show at that time. Anyone who follows these boats knows that it is rare to get a Hanse, in good condition, in the US, at a reasonable price. Well here she. Don't miss out! |
